Online official endorsement to be recognised nursing institutions :   Tnnc had achieved a new milestone of a comprehensive web link all the nursing institution under its control.
The list of all recognised institutions will be provided by district wise. Aspiring students can easily identify a recognised institution close to the place of their choice by selecting the district first and the place next. Also the students will get all details, for example, the courses, duration, fee, admission and hostel facilities, etc.  This project will be of great social value to help the nursing education and the profession.

Capacity Building Through Nursing Preceptorship and Empowering Nursing Skill in HIV/AIDS

The Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council has launched a new milestone of a comprehensive web link of all the nursing institution under its control. Selvi Apoorva, I.A.S., Special Secretary to Government, Health and Family Welfare Department has launched the webpage linked with official Council Website on 11.02.2009. Along with Dr.(Flt.Lt.) P. Nandhagopalsamy, President / Director of Medical and Rural Health Services, Dr.Mrs.G.Josephine R.Little Flower Registrar of Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council and Council members are in the picture.

The Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council is the earliest Nursing Council in the whole South-East Asia . This Council is an autonomous statutory registering body for the Nurses, Midwives, Auxiliary Nurse Midwives / Multipurpose Health Workers / Health Visitors. This Council regulates training programmes and granting recognition to the institutions. This Council aims for the advancement of nursing education and champion the cause of the nursing profession.
