Andavar School of Nursing, was  started in the academic year of  2008-2009 by Alamelu Ammal Educational Trust with an aim to impart required educational and training to create medical service personnel in Nagapattinam District.Alamelu Ammal Educational Trust runs by the name of Alamelu Ammal. The main activity of the Trust is to establish school and college in paramedical science.

Andavar school of nursing with an annual intake of 20 students and it is duly approved by Government of Tamilnadu G.O.M.S. No: 31 dated, 28.12.2007.
Our school is well equipped with all the infrastructure and facilities according to the Indian Nursing Council norms and guidelines.
