School of Nursing, Kanyakumari Medical Mission, C.S.I.Hospital Marthandam was started on     01-07-1993. The Motto of the School of Nursing is “NOT TO BE SERVED BUT TO SERVE”. The staff and Students strive to keep up to this great calling. The teaching and training programme is planned towards this goal. The education given have is to promote health care both curative and preventive in Hospital and Community.

The curriculum is designed such that the influence of Socio economic factors, sanitary conditions of personal hygiene etc. On the health of the individual and Community at large is brought out clearly. The practical training in the wards and in the Community gives them ample opportunity to apply the knowledge and grow in their own experience.
