The Church of South India Mission Hospital, Woriur, Trichy was started by Methodist Missionaries in 1909 as a women’s dispensary.  Today it is a 200 bedded Multi speciality hospital with modern facilities, infrastructure, dedicated management and staff.  The School of Nursing was started in March 1993 as a teaching arm of the hospital.

The objective and philosophy of this institution is to prepare nurses who will function as a member of the health team, with competencies for first level position in both hospital and community.  We provide our students with knowledge and equip them with professional expertise to meet the changing demands of society.
