The  application from and prospectus can be had by a requisition addressed to the Principal, institute of Nursing and enclosing a Crossed Demand Draft for Rs.200/- drawn in favour of ganga Hospital payable at   Coimbatore  .

Eligibility:

a)  Candidates should have completed 17 years of age and must be less than 25 years on June 30th of the year.

b) Candidates should have passed +2 examination conducted by the State Govt. of Tamilnadu.

c) Candidates should have obtained in the qualifying examination 50% in English and 50% in aggregate, with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Vocational Nursing) from Tamilnadu.

d) Candidate should be medically fit.

e) Minimum weight should be 38 kgs.

f) Candidates should be unmarried.

Description of the course:

We have diploma in general Nursing and Midwifery(3 ½ ) years course. It was started in January(11.01.2007) and also in July 2007. We have taken  second batch of GNM students.

First batch 20 students passed in all subjects with distinction in the Board examination. Held in November- December 2007 Second batch is going to appear for their board examination in July2008. We have students nurses Association for the  students  (SNA) our future plan is to starts B.Sc.Nursing .
