Ganga hospital situated in Mettupalayam road middle of the city  and serving  in the people for the past 30years. They are not only  doing service to the people they wants  to give nursing training and high education to provide qualitative nursing care to the  patients. The GANGA SCHOOL OF NURSING situated  @ Sanganoor Main Road, Sanganoor, Coimbatore. It started in the year 2007 January 11th onwards with in take of 20 students. School of nursing approved by Tamilnadu Government, It is recognized by Tamilnadu Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council .The first year under went government Board Examination held in Nov/Dec 2007 and passed in all subjects with distinction. The second batch of students admitted in July 2007 with  intake of 20 students. This students going to appear  examination in July 2008.We  celebrate  the Annual day  Function. We have taken classes as per Indian Nursing Council prescribed Syllabus and follows the rules  and regulation and  norms and prepare the students. We send the students for Examination to the affiliated hospitals such as Ganga Hospital, Sengaliappan  hospital, Masonic Hospital & Krishna Nursing Home for Clinical Practice and Thudiyaur PHC  for community Health Nursing field experience. We are taking the students to the tourist place as an educational tour for  improving the knowledge. Annual medical Check up, Free treatment , Vaccination  provided by this  institution. We conducted sports day , Nurses day celebration, annual day and  encourage and prepare them as a qualitative Nurses.

ACHIEVEMENT

We conduct  sports day & Students participate and won prizes. We conduct science Exhibition and exhibit Anatomy & Physiology  and cooking methods, Nutrition food    method of prevention of diseases promotion of health , etc ant it was very useful to the public & students are attended many medical camps, Immunization camp, Eye camp, MCH  Camps, Leprosy  & TB camps  to help  and assess and Identify the communicable  diseases, such as  TB, leprosy, Aids, & deficiency diseases n night blindness, Malnutrition, knwashiorher, humiliated disorders, mental retardation etc., Health education given Regarding early diagnosis prevention of Health & Promotion of Health.

Future plan

We planned for college of Nursing and Post graduate studies, we aspire that the students of this institution should have development in three major aspects knowledge, attitude, and practice in the profession which they have chosen as a carrier.

We wish that the young men and women on graduation should have the ultimate aim of selfless service, comparison and consideration for anybody who comes to them when they are sick or disabled for the possible comfort and care.
