Accreditation
The College is subjected to periodical inspection by the different accreditating bodies in the state and Indian Nursing Council.
Curriculum Competencies
- Admissions: The number of applications both male and female aspiring for nursing is increased cons the demand for nurses in India and abroad. Our sanctioned intake at present is 40. The need for increasing admission from progress.
- Infrastructure: College has the state of the art facilities with adequate class rooms, fully equipped Labs learn and practice. Facilities enable the students to attain the desired learning out-come before their clinical area considering the complexities of the procedure.
- Faculty Positions: Both full time and part time faculties are selected with care and inducted as prescribed by Indian Nursing Council.
- Library: A good collection of books and journals of Indian and foreigon origin are available in all subject.
- Curriculum: The revised curriculum recommended by India Nursing council has been implemented in the academic year 2006-2007.
- Health checkup and Immunization: Health assessment is done annually.
Students are vaccinated hepatitis B before the start of clinical posting.
Integration if theory and Practice: Teaching and learning activities are carefully selected by the curriculum considering the various skills to be developed. Students of J.K. College of Nursing to under go clinical learning practices through out the year. The clinical positing made arrangements with the following hospitals.

- VRC Hospital Rehabilitation Centre Kerala -500 Bedded

- Richmond Hospital - 100 Bedded
Urban Health Services: Our students get to know health care delivery system of India and primary services by serving Upplipalayam Centre under Coimbatore Corporation Urban Health post.
Rural Health services: We have Tip up with primary Health Centre Irugur having a population 12,000. Students are delivering community services at their door step. Maternal and Child Health Care, Mobility Care, school health services, geriatric care, and camps etc. Students are benefited through Community Health Services and also areas are covered with help of the students posted for the learning experience.
Transport: Mobility of students to varies clinical areas and also for observation visits is possible by our college bus.
