Nambi Nursing Home and Research Centre was started in February 1979. Present Bed Strength is 150. It is well equipped with all modern medical equipments. It has got 3 Operation Theatres build with international Standards. Twin Theatre for organ Transplantation Surgery is available. Central Oxygen System, Lift, 45 KVA Generator with Automatic Mains Failure Panel is provided. This Hospital is managed by the Chairman and Trustees of Gopal Narayanan Memorial Educational trust. The member of the Management committee has got vast experience in the education field with sound Financial back ground.
As part of our School Health Programme we are planning to give free Typhoid and Rubella Vaccines to the Govt. School students studying in the 6th Standard to Plus 2 classes. The programme will be carried out by the Staffs and Students of Lakshmiammal School of Nursing (run by our Trust) and Staff members of Nambi Nursing Home and Research Centre, Chengalpattu. One medical officer will guide and supervise the programme.

• Govt. Senior Approved School – Chengalpattu.
• Govt. High School Pukkathurai – Maduranthagam TK.
• Govt. High School Padalam (MCSM) - Maduranthagam TK.
• Govt. High School Karunkuzhi - Maduranthagam TK.
• Govt. High School Salavakkam - Uthiramerur TK.
• Govt. High School Vedanthankal - Uthiramerur TK.
• Govt. High School – Uthiramerur.

The Programme will cover nearly 5000 students and will be extended to some other Govt. High Schools also. We are planning to give Hepatitis Vaccine afterwards.
