Admission
ADMISSION PROCEDURE & ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (B.SC NURSING)
As per the guidelines of the Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education, Chennai, the Govt
quota seats(65% of Total seats) will be filled by the Govt based on the merit and Govt norms. Management quota(35%) seats will be filled after ranking the eligible candidates according to their merits by the Tamilnadu Private Professional Colleges association.
- A total of 40 students will be admitted to the course each year 26 Government seats and 14 Management seats.
- A candidate should have passed 10, +2 examination (academic stream) with 45% and above in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology , /Botany and Zoology, either in HSC/CBSE/ICSE or an equivalent course from an recognized university.
- Candidate should be completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission and should have completed the said age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
- As per the guidelines of the Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University, Chennai, all subject of Physics, Chemistry , Biology and English as per the Tamil Nadu HSC syllabus.
- Students will also have to appear for an interview with the Admission panel.
- The college allotment will be purely on merit basis of the entrance examination as per Government norms.
- Selected students will be intimated the result by post and sent a provisional admission card
- All provisionally selected candidates are requested to produce the eligibility and enrollment certificate from the Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University, Chennai.
- Candidates should submit a certificate of medical fitness from an authorized medical officer that the candidate is physically fit to undergo the academic course.

This Institution believes that nurses prepared from this college will be able to take up greater responsibilities for health care both in the hospital and in the community.
It will take up first level positions in health care settings.

It will be research oriented,and contribute to continuing research,and education for their personnel and professional development.
OBJECTIVES
The College endeavors to prepare nurses who,after completion of B.Sc Nursing programme.
Demonstrate competency in Nursing skills based on scientific principles from biological and behavioral sciences.
Participate as members of the health team in promotive,preventive and restorative health care services of the society.
Demonstrate leadership qualities and decision making abilities in various situations.
