S.R.M College of Nursing, a member of >Sri Ramasamy  Memorial Group(SRM) Group of educational Institution for higher learning, is functioning under the aegis of Valliammai Society.  The society was founded in the year 1975 by Thiru. T. R. Pachamuthu, B.Sc., M.I.E., well known educationist, for promoting the cause of education.The Nursing College was established in the year 1992 with the motto “ Service to the Humanity”.  In the year, 1993 School of Nursing was started.  So far 9 batches of students of both B.Sc. Nursing and Diploma  Nursing  have been graduated from this college.  Many of our graduates are well placed  both in  India  and abroad.

SRM College of Nursing is located at Kattankulathur between  Tambaram & Chengalpet. It is 2 km from Pother station & Pother Bus stop. S.R.M. College of Nursing is recognized by the Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council and it is affiliated to the The Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University.

The college has come under the ambit of SRMIST,Deemed University during 2005. SRMIST,Deemed University has become SRM University during 2006. We have the first batch of BSc(N) & MSc(N) program inducted in 2005 under the Deemed University
