The Institution is has good Infrastructural facilities such as Spacious Class Rooms, Principal Room, Vice Principal Room, Administrative Office, Staff Room, Fundamental Lab, Maternal Child Health Lab, Community Lab, Nutrition Lab, Computer Lab, Library, A.V. Aids Room, Auditorium, Common Rooms for Staff and Students separately, Store Room, Record Room, Canteen. Hostels for Boys and Girls are available separately. Adequate College owned Transport Buses are available to commute the students and staff members from different parts of the Chennai Metropolitan City. Play Grounds are available to develop sports activities among the students. Medical Centre and telephone facilities are also available in the campus. The Institution is well connected to Chennai – Bangalore Highway at the point of Chembarambakkam, a suburb of Chennai Metropolitan City.

INTERNET

    
SSCON has special and dedicated connectivity through BSNL for internet facility Student and faculty of sastha are provided access to internet during college hours for academic activities. The facility is available from 7.00 am till 8.00 pm.

LIBRARY

Sree Sastha College of Nursing is having a spacious Library measuring more than 4500 sq. ft. area. At present there are more than 1800 books available under different titles and volumes on the subjects of Medical, Surgical, Gynecology, Pediatric etc., The Journals on different fields are available at National and International levels to develop the research activities among the Staff and Students. The Library is having Reference Section for referring important rare books, hand books and encyclopedia. The Library is having Reception Counter, Stack Room, Study Halls, Journal Section, Digital Library etc., E-journal an also available for the best of the student .The Students and Staff members are permitted to take Library Books on deposition of Library tokens as per the Institution Norms.

TRANSPORT            
The college has one bus and one van for the student to go to various clinical set up industrial with field visit and other placement aranged by the department . picking up in the morning and droping in the evening for both faculty and students are also available.

We have got approval from The Director of Medical and Rural Health Services, Chennai, Ref: No.2008/A2/09 for Govt.Head Quarters Hospital, Thiruvallur.  The students are posted to Govt.Head Quarters Hospital for Clinical Posting and Primary Health Centre for Community posting for all four years.

Hostel facilities

The Students staying away from home our hostel gives a new experience to feel at home. The hostel at SSCON is a three storey building with 154 well ventilated rooms, common hall in every floor. TV, internet facility and provision for in door game separate hostel for girls in the campus and for boys near the campus.

A separate hostel for the Girls is available  in the campus.  Students from the other States and far distant areas are staying in the Hostel.  All facilities are provided in the hostel for the students such as Recreation Room, Sick Room, Visitors Hall, Play Ground, Indoor & Outdoor Games facility etc.,

Canteen:            
A spacious canteen with hygienic and good nutrition food helps the students to be healthy, through out their stay in the hostel and college.
