Sree Abirami College of Nursing was established in the year 2008 by Dr.P.Periyaswamy.
It was started with the strong motive to provide a quality education inturn provide a quality care to the humanity. Students from this Institution receive high quality education and are nurtured for a complete development.

CURRICULAR ACTIVITES
Curriculum has been planned and implemented as per the requirement prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. We train the students by well qualified teaching faculty who do a dedicated service to promote excellence in education.

CLINICAL FACILITIES
Our students are provided an explicit practical exposure at our own multispeciality hospital. Since, the global need for nurses keep increasing, our aim is to produce nurses of high standard who will be able to keep in pace with the modernized health care needs.
They are also sent to various other specialty hospitals according to their requirement.

ORIENTATION PROGRAMME
An orientation programme was organised for the students on 21st Oct, 08. In order to orient them to this new environment. They were taken out to visit important places in Coimbatore.
AIDS AWARENES PROGRAM:
An Aids Awarenes Programme was organised on 16th Dec 08 to mark WORLD AIDS DAY
Students participated enthusiastically and emphasized the need to remove social stigma. Quiz competitions were also held.


STUDENTS PARTICIPATION
Our students are also encouraged to participate in various inter collegeate competitions thereby making them extroverts.

SPORTS ACTIVITIES
Sports meet was organized 19.02.09 and 20.02.09 at the railway ground in which all the students participated enthusiastically. They proved that they are in no way inferior in sports. Sports activities are encouraged to promote espirit-de-corps among the students.

CULTURAL ACTIVITES
Cultural programmes were conducted from 16.02.09 to 18.02.09 in our college. The students participated in all the programmes and excelled.

DISCIPLINE
We do give prime importance to discipline.Today's students are tomorrow's leaders. So we mould the students in all the aspects to lift them up to reach the heights in the future. Students are trained to cope up in the challenging world awfully.

LAMP LIGHTING PROGRAMME
Our first Lamp Lighting Programme was celebrated on 20th march 2009 in a very grand manner. Students pledged to do a dedicated service to the humanity. Followed by the Lamp Lighting Ceremony Cultural programme was held.
