To abolish the child illiteracy at rural areas.In Cuddalore District , Chidhambaram Taluk, at Valayamadevi Village, Our service for education was begun 50 years ago.
Ln. Ma.Kothandaraman Who awarded  the “ NALLASIRIYAR”award was the founder of these educational programmes.In 1995 he established “VallalarElemetary School”with single teacher to serve the poor pupils of surrounding rural areas near Valayamadevi.Then it was developed as Vallalar Middle School and then as Vallalar High school.
We have also launched an orphanage in the name of “Vallalar Orphanage for Childrens”,recognized by Tamilnadu Social Welfare Department.By this orphanage more than Two Hundred Children’s are getting free study,food and accommodation.
Our Educational Journey was progressed to in accurate”Ma.Kothandaraman Educational Trust” in 1993.Under this trust we are running a lot of education programmes.We have started M.k RAMAN ITI at Valayamadevi,Sri SAraswathi ITI at Chidabaram,Sri Viruthambigai ITC at Vriddhachalam.In the year 1997,recognized by DGET and Sri Viruthambigai ITS in 2001.The courses offered in the above mentioned programmes are,

We have lifted up our institution for higher education bu introducing at Vriddhachalam D.T.Ed.,Course in 2006,B.Ed., Course in 2008 and D.T.Ed., Course in 2007 Valayamadevi ,all these are recognized by National Council for Teacher Education,Bangalore and approved by Government of Tamilnadu through these programmes the beneficiary are about Three Hundred and Fifty Students.
