We have very good speciality hospitals for our clinical postings like Naveen hospital (100 bedded) which is our parent hospital. We also go to Morris Mathias Hospital (100 bedded) for little more experience. For psychiatric Training our II year students are posted to IMH, Kilpauk Medical College Chennai. They Stayed in Nissi Ladies Hostel, Chennai, for about month duration. During that time they also visited to cancer Institute, Chennai. To enhance their knowledge in that aspect too. II year students also visited Aravind Eye Hospital, Thirunelveli for speciality Training. Our III year students had posted to urban community field at Vattavilai municipality hospital for one month, and also conducted school health programme. I yrs have completed one month Rural Community Health at our own community health centre and sub sub centre along with Agastheeswaram PHC, they have also done surveys, and immunization. Also I year students were posted to urban community health work at Vattavilai Municipality Hospital for one month. Our students participated in so many Extra curricular and co curricular activities. In the month of August, I year students have participated in intercollege competition which was conducted by Mangaiyar Malar, at Thirunelveli Saral Tucker women’s college. In that lour students own 1st prize in “Fashion show”, they again went for semifinals “Pattu Parambariyam” at Mannar Thirumalai Nayyakar College Madurai. Our II year students also participated in dance competition which was conducted by “Kumudam Snehithi” at Udupi Hotel, Nagercoil.
