Admission of the new group:
Admission was carried out for the XVI batch – 20 Students. After regular process the classes were started. They were excited about the gift of God to the nursing students.

Breast Feeding week:
Place : Nungambakkam – KKCTH Hospital
      III years participated in the breast feeding week in KKCTH Hospital at Nungambakkam. We participated in various competitions and won the first prize in poster, quiz and cultural competitions. Mrs. Padmashri Sudha Ragunathan presided over the function.

Important School Functions:
Lamp lighting ceremony and graduation ceremony for our XVI & XII batch & school day celebration-Chief Guest: Fr. Nallappan OMI priest and Dr.Sr.Rexline the Medical superintendent.-There was grand mass followed by lamp lighting ceremony. 20 of our students were dedicated their life to the service of God by serving to the humanity. After pledging there were different cultural programs followed by lunch. The principal, staff, and students from the school, the management, staff and community sisters along with graduates near and dear ones.

Parents-teachers meeting
It is customary to meet parents along with their children with the teacherand the principal. They discuss about their children progress on studies,clinical experiences and personal life. This will strengthen the students as well as participation of the parents with their children’s growth.

Fund Raising programme:
We conducted fund raising program at St. Thomas hospital campus. All the students participated in conducting various cultural programs, differentkinds of games and preparing and selling various food items. This hasearned Rs. 21,333 for SNA unit fund. It was a great fun to all.

Mrs. Sridevi. The prize winners were Ms Anne pratheba from second year and Ms. Saranya from third year. Place: St. Thomas Hospital.

There were competitionsin mono act and singing. The judges were Sr. Theckla and Ms. Prathebe, Ms. Kalaivani and Sr. Lourdu Mary. Sr. Jenmarakini from I year and Ms. Sangeetha III,Ms. Devika from II year for singing and Ms. Narmadha I year and Ms. Beula from III year got the prizes.

The students from I & II year with all the staff visited planetarium, children’s park and snake park. They gained knowledge on galaxy, different kinds of birds and snakes.

The whole organization celebrated our patron saint St. Thomas. There was high liturgical celebration which was celebrated by our new parish priest Father Peter Regis.
