The Course

The Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery course in approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu and Indian Nursing Council

Eligibility

The candidate should have passed 10, +2 with Physics, Chemistry and biology and should have an aggregate of 50% marks. The age for a admission in minimum of 17 and maximum of 35 years. The candidate shall be medically fit

Duration

The duration of the course is 3 ½ years

Syllabus

Syllabus is same as prescribed for GNM trainees in all three year and internship period

The employment opportunity for trained nurse is ever expanding and there is a vast scope in Foreign countries as well. Trained nurse population per Doctor in India is very low and hence there is a big and increasing demand for trained nurses
