B.Sc (N) & GNM:-

Venkateswara Nursing College & Vel’s School of Nursing was started in the year 03-04-2006 November. Intake of B.Sc
(N) students was 10 at that time intake of GNM was 2, because of late admission.
1st batch 9 students appeared examination in February 2008 and among 9 students 5 students had distinction in Microbiology
distinction in English
distinction in Psychology
7students First class in all subjects
GNM Appeared – 1
Passed in all subjects
A special course for English by Foreigner was arranged by the management for the students to have effective
communication in English

Annual College day was celebrated by all colleges under Vel’s Group of Institutions and Nursing students participated in both indoor & outdoor games. They achieved many prizes, medals & shields
II batch students I year B.Sc (N) & GNM are going to appear for examination in August 2008 & July
