Dr. Alva Paramedical Educational Institute was established in 2002.  The institute is managed by Dr. Alva Educational & Charitable trust which is governed by an eminent group of trustees having several credits to their names in the respective fields.  Driven by the vision of its chairman, Dr. K.S. Alva who has transformed the landscape of healthcare in Pollachi Taluk over more than four decades.  The institute has its own hospitals with over 150 beds in two of its hospitals in Pollachi.

ABOUT CAMPUS

Our campus is set on the beautiful location of Pollachi which is 48Kms from Coimbatore city.  Pollachi presents a wealth of tropical beauty and corresponding activities – A paradise for living and learning.

The school of nursing offers a traditional curriculum on nursing.  When students need a break from their studies, they’ I find themselves in an exotic paradise.  Pollachi renowned for its spectacular vistas.  The natural beauty is breathtaking – crystalline waters, evergreen forests and abundant vegetation.  This environment allows students to focus in their course work, without the stressful distractions often found in major cities.

OUR DEVELOPMENTAL PLAN ALSO INCLUDES

Plan, develop, implement and evaluate nursing and health care professional programs of study that are responsive to global workforce needs.  Enhance global health care delivery through innovative programs of beginning studies foundational to advanced professional nursing diplomas.  Initiate and maintain theoretical, laboratory and clinical studies in concert with statutory and professional accreditation standards.  Respond to lifelong learning needs of nurses and health care professionals through continuing education programs.  Collaborate with Local, Regional and international stakeholders in maintaining quality professional nursing programs.
