Hostel facilities

In Alva institution have hostel attached with all the facilities.  Diploma courses in Nursing are a residential course.  Therefore staying in hostel is compulsory the college has a well furnished hostel with in the college premises.  Delicious & nutritious food is server in the hostel the mess is run on non profit basis hostel is headed by a senior warden with strict rules.
ACCOMMODATION

All nursing students are expected to stay in the nurses hostel student will be under the supervision of the principal with the help of hostel warden.  Students will not be permitted to go out of the hostel premises.  Each student have separate cot & all the students are provided with good ventilation & good lighting & bathroom facility & washing area.  Separate visitor room provided for the student and also sick room available for the students.
RECREATION

 All nursing students allowed for recreation when students are ready to relax they will find nearby facilities for a wide range of outdoor activities many activities are water based including boating.  There is also trekking, hiking, and the popular sport of the students choice to enjoy in the continuous welcoming climate of a typical pollachi setting whatever students choose their choice in out door activities we are sure that they will enjoy the pristine surroundings of pollachi not only the outdoor games & out door visit and also indoor games available to relay for example allow the students to watch TV, games like chess, caroms.

MESS
DINNING HALL

Homely food is provided for the students.  Mess fees will be calculated on the basis of dividing system, non vegetarian & vegetarian food will be provided in the mess, students mess have well arrangements of chairs and tables & good ventilation & all the facilities.
