The achievements of our students were exemplary at the Academic level as well as clinical areas. They secured many distinctions with cent percent results. The 1994 Batch of students Ms. Shabana Azmi, Ms. Kavitha and Ms. Gowri topped the 2nd and 3rd year Tamilnadu Govt. Board Exam in GNM securing state ranks. Then on it has been a steady increase year after year.

The graduation ceremony of first two batches were held at Sindhoori hotels on 6th May 1997 presided over by Thiru. Arcot N. Veerasamy honourable minister of health. Tamilnadu State. Appreciation letters received from our beloved Chairman and Managing Director helps to motivate the faculty for continuing the spirit of excellence.

CO-CURRICULAR AND EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

 The Co-curricular and extra curricular activities are organized regularly through Student Nurses Association, NSS and Youth Red Cross.  The students participate in various intercollegiate competitions, exhibitions and community development .At Apollo CON gardening is encouraged as an extra curricular activity of the students.

NSS  & Youth Red Cross Activities

In conjunction with the government of India, NSS  & Youth Red Cross Activities are conducted at our college.They train students to be adventurous and go that extra mile to serve mankind .They bring light into the lives of the community with a smile and care they offer.

Continuing Nursing Education

Apollo college of Nursing has come a long way embracing change and transforming it into a premier institution.Down the lane there has been an awesome escalating growth of professionalism by conducting regular CNE’s to stay cognizant with trends and new skills. CNE’s are conducted in the form of

Sports facilities

The sports facilities within the campus enables the students outdoor games such as Volleyball, throw ball,  basket ball,  Long Jump etc. The indoor games such as table Tennis, Chess, carom Board etc. are provided in  the hostel.

Alumni Association

To promote, strengthen and foster fellowship among the former students of Apollo College of Nursing the Alumni Association is formed.  The membership is open to all graduates of Apollo College of Nursing.  The activities planned are Alumni reunions, workshops, releasing a Newsletter and linking through Website and E-mails.

Student Exchange programme

A learning exercise is initiated between Apollo and the health care giants like John Hopkins University and Tenet health care corporation USA through exchange programme of their high performing Nurses, faculty and students which would help both organizations in understanding the diverse health care delivery systems, working culture and the possibility of adapting new technology to improve their own operations.
