The Aims and objects of the Trust are to promote education of all types and grades among the people in general and in particular amongst the backward communities in the rural areas.

The Mohamed Sathak Trust was established in the year 1973 by the Philanthropists Mohamed Sathak family of Kilakarai and it was named after their father (viz.,) Mohamed Sathak Thambi. Our Trust is registered as a Society under Societies Registration Act of 1860 (Registered as No. 336 of 1973) under Article 30(1) of the Constitution of India.The purpose of starting B. Sc., Degree Course in Nursing (Basic) is to train and develop professional nursing personnel with sound scientific background in order to render service effectively and efficiently and to meet the challenges in Nursing in Indian and international scenario.
