The college has well equipped 14 class rooms with  LCD projectors, Over head projectors, Speaker systems, good ventilation and space.  The class rooms are tailored to meet the individual needs of the students and maximum utilisation of the resources.  The college is also provided with hygeinic rest rooms and safe drinking water facilities

The college houses all facilities for different labs catering to the needs of clinical experience and training. The laboratories have state of art facilities, with a balanced ratio in all aspects and provide exposure to advanced technologies in various fields of nursing.

The college has adequate transport facilities, to help students in various areas like, field visits, community programmes, NSS programmes etc

 

 

 

 

 

Library:

The Library of the college of nearly 3500 sq ft  is well established with seating arrangements for 150 students, books accounting for 11,015  ,with 3 journal racks comprising of 37 national and 26  internationational journals catering to speciality and super speciality nursing,general  fortnightly and monthly magazines.it also provides internet facilities free of cost.

Hospital (Parental / Affiliated)


Sri Ramakrishna Hospital is a multispeciality hospital having sophisticated most modern medical equipments for diagnostic and treatment facilities with well qualified and experienced doctors. The hospital   houses specialty and super specialty facilities with well equipped intensive care units for all facilities for all departments. The emergency department of the hospital provides 24hrs service. The hospital also conducts various camps and campaigns aiming in catering to the needs of the underserved communities. It also provides free services to the under privileged including deliveries, cardiac surgeries and oncological therapies.
The hospital has its own pharmacy that serves round the clock and is always well stocked .Ambulances with mobile ventilator, cardiac monitor, defibrillator, oxygen supply, emergency drugs; trained personnel are available for 24 hrs 

 

Community

The college is affiliated to THUDIYALUR UPGRADED BLOCK PRIMARY HEALTH CENTRE which serves about two lakh population situated around the centre which has 3 primary health centres and 9 sub centres. In addition to the provision of primary health services, the centre provides assistance to the people through SHG, Noon meal centre, ICTC,  etc.
The college to its credit has, two rural health centers with hostel facilities for the students situated at Vattamalaipalayam and Pachapalayam, covering about 50,000 and 40,000 populations respectively. The students gain community clinical experience by providing domiciliary services both in urban and rural areas and are posted in primary health centre and rural health centers throughout the year. In addition to the regular services, the students are involved in all the special camps and programmes organized by the hospital and health centers.
The students are guided under a team of experienced Post graduate and under graduate faculty. Yearly   15 – 20 community research projects are being undertaken by under graduate and post graduate students.

RURAL HEALTH CENTRE

VATTAMALAIPALAYAM
Established in the year 1990 and was managed by graduate nurses of College of nursing. The Centre is staffed by Medical officer, Paramedical and non paramedical workers. Students are posted in rotation throughout the year for domiciliary visits and maternity nursing care in the rural health centre. The Medical officer and the HOD of the Community Health nursing dept of the College coordinate the activities of the centre.

Hostel facilities


ACCOMODATION
Sri Ramakrishna ladies hostel has capacity to accommodate 800 inmates. The hostel consist of three wings, two wings are allotted for students and one for staff.

RECREATION
The hostel has facilities of indoor sports like caroms, chess etc, and outdoor sports like volley ball, badminton etc. Newspapers for upgrading the knowledge and television for entertainment are provided for the students.

MESS
The mess provides hygienic and healthy food for the students. The students are provided with the mess timings and remain open for three hours for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
