- Prof. Seethalakshmi is posted as Nurse Expert under INC for training Module development on HIV/AIDS under GFATM, attended on 18th & 19th of Dec 2008.
- Prof. Seethalakshmi is posted as Convenor for review and development of Records / Reports of Nursing courses under Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council.
- Prof. Seethalakshmi was invited as Nurse Specialist in Nursing Education to present a keynote address on “Future challenges of Nursing in the Changing Health Care Environment”, where His Excellency Former President of India Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was the Chief Guest in Centenery Celebration of Trained Nurses Association of India. It was highly placed on records.
- Conducts State Level intercollegiate cultural meet – ‘‘FACETIOUS” annually.
- A panel discussion was held on “Trends in the development of Nursing Education in India and the perspectives of nursing education at the national & global level.
- Prof. Shanthi. R, Mrs. Janet & Mrs. Chitra L are proceeding well in PhD Nursing under The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University & Indian Nursing Council.
- The faculties are being sponsored for various state and national level conferences.
- Under the Co-ordination of Mrs. Kalaichelvi, Prof. G.K. Sellakumar & Prof. Sampath Kumar a State level workshop on Psycho diagnosis and Psycho Therapy in Education on 22nd and 23rd January, 2009 was organized. Two hundred delegates attended.
- The NSS Programme Officer Mrs. Chitra W. and team organized The Special & Regular Camp activities of NSS.
- 100 students lit the Florence Nightingale Lamp on 11.11.2008.
- Various Medical & School Health Camps and Awareness Rally were organized by nursing college benefited by thousands of people and children. The Special Days of Calendar events were observed.
- Inter collegiate pediatrics Quiz Competition was conducted by prof. Suganthi on 23rd November, 2008.
- The students participated in various cultural, Quiz and sports event like Kairali function, Eluvas function, Ecstasy, Inter Collegiate Quiz Competition & State Level Inter College Sports Meet and Secured First and Second Prize in all the events.
- The Online Question Paper facility is established.
