REVISED GNM SYLLABUS - FINALISING RECORDS

To validate the revised GNM syllabus, the resource faculty finalized the draft prepared during the orientation programme for the revised GNM syllabus. The records were finalized in a programme that also honoured the eminent persons for the special contribution to the nursing. The meeting commenced at 12.15 pm with a self prayer.

The following Agenda items were discussed.

FELICITATION:

Dr. G. Bava Fathurudin, President, Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council chaired the meeting.

Mrs. G. Josephine R. Little Flower, Registrar, Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council welcomed the gathering.

The Florence Nightingale awardees of 2007 namely Mrs. Chellammal Mariappan, Tamil Nadu and Mrs. Anna Siromani Rajan Babu, Puducherry, were present. Ms. C. Mahalakshmi expressed her inability to attend the felicitation.

The President and Registrar on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council felicitated the awardees by honouring with shawl and bouquet respectively.

The awardees related their experience and achievements in nursing profession and expressed their sincere gratitude for felicitating them.
