was an auspicious day for the nursing fraternity of Tamilnadu.
The Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council under the able
leadership of Mrs.G.Josephine, the Registrar created a bench
mark in nursing education with a random group of Resource
Faculty of Tamilnadu who collectively and effectively disseminated
their intellectual competencies by creating the following
13 Records for the benefit of novice nurses and faculty.

K.K.S.S.R. Ramachandran, Health Minister, Govt.
of Tamilnadu, the Chief Guest of the day released the First
copy of Records.

Secretary to Government of Tamilnadu, received the First
copy of Records.

T.Dileepkumar, Nursing Adviser, Ministry of Health
and Family Welfare, Govt. of India and President, Indian
Nursing Council, New Delhi, was the Guest of Honour.
The Special
Guest Dr. Thiagavalli Kirubakaran,
Director of Medical Education and Chairman, Board of Examiners
for GNM showered her blessings.
Dr.
G. Bava Fathurudin, Director of Medical and Rural
Health Services and President, Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives
Council, presided over the function.
The Registrar
of the Council briefed the gathering on the perseverance
of the team of Resource Faculty to prepare the Records and
the future plans of the Council to be a forerunner in creating
quality nursing education in India.
