Quality Assurance is adhering by this council
by a well planned and systematic pattern of all under mentioned
actions stipulated in the statues of Tamil Nadu Nurses and
Midwives Council.
The main purpose is to excelling Nursing education in Tamil
nadu. To produce adequate competent nurses to practice within
the frame work of legal and ethical component.
The syllabus and regulation are framed by Indian
Nursing Council, New Delhi, so as to impart the uniform standard
of nursing education throughout India. Besides the State Nursing
Council is giving recognition to the institution approved
by the State Government which are fulfilling the guidelines
and norms/minimum requirements of INC. Subsequently registering
the qualification of the candidates passed out from these
insitituion within the State obtained by the recognized examining
bodies of INC. (i.e. University - for collegiate programme,
Boards - Diploma programme).
